ACP believes that behavioral health is an important part of your child's well being. We are happy to offer brief, solution-focused behavioral health consultation to help you with common family and childhood concerns. 

Offering this in-house support increases communication and collaboration between your care team, which can lead to positive outcomes for your family. 

In addition to general parenting support and education, our Behavioral Health Provider (Jessica Adams, LCSW) can assist with a variety of topics, including: 

ADD/ADHD

anxiety

sleep concerns

defiance

grief and loss

school problems

depression

adjustment issues

Behavioral Health visits are only available for established patients who are referred by one of our primary care providers. To establish care at ACP, please call 907-777-1800.

Jessica Adams, LCSW

Jessica grew up in Alaska and completed her MSW at the University of Alaska Anchorage in 2011. She has worked with children and families in a variety of capacities and environments. She has provided in-home parenting education and support, taught parenting classes, and provided long-term therapy for individuals, families, and larger groups, including in residential treatment settings.

Jessica can provide a wide variety of therapeutic interventions, including play therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, behavioral therapy, and mindfulness.

When Jessica isn't working, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, as well as fishing, yoga, reading, and drinking good coffee.
