Q: What insurances does Alaska Center for Pediatrics
accept?
A: Alaska Center for Pediatrics accept and bill all
insurances including Medicaid and Denali Kid Care, but are
preferred providers with Aetna, Blue Cross, Cigna and
Tricare.
Q: Can I do a walk in appointment?
A: We are not a walk in clinic and prefer to have all
appointments scheduled with the exception of immunizations
(if current on well child checks/physicals) that we can do
as a nurse visit between 9:30am & 11:30am and 1:30pm through
4:00pm Monday through Friday.
Q: Are you accepting new patients?
A: Yes. We are always accepting new patients for all
our providers.
Q: How do I choose the provider I want to see?
A: For new patients we can schedule a free Meet the
Doc appt with any of the providers where you can come in and
ask any questions to determine if they are the right fit for
your family.
Q: I'm expecting a new baby and need a pediatrician. What
do I need to do?
A: If you know which doctor you wanted all you need to
do is let the hospital know and they will contact your
doctor when the baby is delivered. If you have not decided
on one yet, we have a free prenatal visit we can schedule
with any of the providers where you can come in and ask
questions to help you decide on the right pediatrician for
your baby.
